Former U.S. National Cyber Director Chris Inglis explains how state-sponsored threat actor groups are ramping up aggression against U.S. critical infrastructure. He also examines the effectiveness of U.S. deterrence policies, and whether we’ve done enough to impose consequences on adversaries such as Volt Typhoon, Sandworm, and others in their targeting of strategic critical infrastructure. Inglis said it often comes down to having the will to carry out deterrence actions and show adversaries that their actions are unacceptable.
